Limiting exposure to the media

Good morning,

I hope everyone is having a lovely day. I was thinking about how good I have been feeling lately, and I want feeling good to be my natural state. I thought it would be helpful to brainstorm about some of the things we can do to make ourselves feel better.

One of the things I do to keep myself feeling good is to deliberately limit my exposure to the media, particularly the news. One of the challenges I have experienced in maintaining a positive attitude is that people often want to discuss the news and it is usually not a happy conversation.

This morning I subscribed to dailygood.org. I will use this to start POSITIVE conversations with people. I think it will help me make my little corner of the world just a little bit brighter.
